Kerrville, Texas, is an incredible place for a wedding, surrounded by rolling hills and located near Boerne and Fredericksburg, two of the most popular destinations in the Texas Hill Country. This backyard wedding took place on family land, where a beautiful older home stood as a reminder of generations of love and memories. The house had been the heart of countless celebrations, making it the perfect setting for this young couple to begin their journey together.
The bride and groom, both Texas A&M University students, first met in College Station and quickly formed a deep connection. Between cheering at Kyle Field, late-night study sessions, and exploring the traditions of Aggieland, their love grew stronger. When it came time to plan their wedding, they knew they wanted a place that meant as much to them as their time at A&M. The a family home, filled with history and love, was the perfect choice.
The weather was absolutely perfect—bright sunshine, a soft Texas breeze, and clear blue skies along with some Texas heat. The ceremony took place under massive oak trees, their branches creating a natural canopy as the couple exchanged vows in front of close family and friends. The reception was held at the groom's home church where everyone gathered to say grace and enjoy a meal together. The golden light of the afternoon made for stunning portraits, inside of the city of Kerrville.
